Marco Goecke (born 1972) is a German choreographer. He was the director of Hanover State Ballet between 2019 and 2023, and has also held positions at Stuttgart Ballet, Scapino Ballet in Rotterdam, Nederlands Dans Theater and Gauthier Dance (Stuttgart). He has also choreographed works for companies which include Paris Opera Ballet, Berlin State Ballet, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and Vienna State Ballet.

His awards and acclamations include the Nijinsky Award (2006) for “most promising” and “outstanding “choreographer in international dance. In 2022 he was awarded the Jiří Kylián Ring. Created to honour the master choreographer of the same name, the ring is passed down each year to an artist who like him is considered to be “an inspirer and innovator” within the dance world.
