Market Dances

Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday July 17 – 8pm

Make your way to the iconic Annapolis Royal Farmers and Traders Market location. Soak in the scenery and the setting sun and watch contemporary dance in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Sometimes quirky, sometimes buoyant, sometimes poignant — always stimulating!

Inaugurated in 2020, Market Dances has become a popular part of the festival. It’s your chance to see most of the MainStage artists performing works created especially for FODAR 2024. This year’s Market Dances artists include:
