Miyeko Ferguson is a Tkaronto / Toronto based dance artist. She graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Performance Dance program. She has worked with choreographers such as Laurence Lemieux, James Kudelka, Peggy Baker, Naishi Wang, Jera Wolfe, Kate Hilliard, Jennifer Nichols, Julia Aplin, Guillaume Côté, Hanna Kiel, and Vicki St. Denys. She has performed with Compagnie de la Citadelle, Canadian Opera Company and toured across North America with Red Sky Performance’s production, Trace. Miyeko has assisted Jera Wolfe on multiple projects including his production, Arise set on Canada’s National Ballet School as well as his recent commission with Stratford Festival’s Wendy and Peter Pan. Film credits include Seven Veils by Atom Egoyan which premiered at TIFF 2023 and SWEAT by The Bicycle Opera Project which premiered at the Kingston Canadian Film Festival 2023.
