All Styles Street Dance Battle

An exciting new festival event with a spectacular lineup! This electrifying throw down showcases 8 nationally recognized Hip Hop dancers breaking, popping, locking and whaacking in a head-to-head competition. Admission is Pay What You Choose, so no reservations required, but seats will be going fast for this event!
- Chad Bernal. Born and raised in the Phillipines, Chad has been immersed in the world of dance for over a decade. Chad is all about bringing ART to the dance floor or the street!
- Gabrielle Greener. While her dance experience includes a wide range of street and commercial genres, waacking is the style closest to her heart.
- Jason Collantes (JC Fresh). A Filipino Canadian dance artist, Jason is known for his explosive energy and authentic storytelling through Hip Hop and breaking. His work with Bboyism allows him to break boundaries re-defining how Hip Hop is presented on stage.
- Jay Harvey. Jay has been a freestyle hip-hop dancer for over 10 years. His main focus has been on popping and hip-hop choreography and he has worked professionally in Toronto and Halifax. Jay is currently based in Montreal.
- Nathaniel “Natorious” Dooks. A breaker and performer for over 15 years, Nathaniel is the first male Breaker from Atlantic Canada to compete at the Canadian national qualifier for the Canadian Olympics Breaking Team.
- Kalliane Yofi Bremault. Kalliane has been into Hip Hop since the age of 5. Working internationally, she has performed for several notable companies including Netflix, Disney and Cirque Éloize.
- Jackie Agudo (JK-47). Jackie will be a judge for this event, but she is a recognized award-winning competitor with victories across North America and Europe. She performs competitively in Los Angeles (UniverSOUL Hip Hop) and tours across Canada and internationally with Bboyizm.
- Anthony Palomecc Bradette. Anthony has been surrounded by dance and Latin music since birth. A huge talent, he began by exploring street styles like popping, house, breaking and locking. He is also trained in ballet and contemporary dance.
- Romain Gailhaguet. Better known as “Vibz”, Romain is a self-taught artist who has quickly made a name for himself on the street dance scene winning numerous competitions. His work with Bboyism is driven by a passion for the art of movement.
- Rock “Gimrock’ Mejia. Gimrock is the Battle DJ. He is a multifaceted Hip Hop artist with a successful professional career as a dancer and DJ.
In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Legion at 66 Victoria Street, Annapolis Royal.
