I Dream in Wampum

Marshall Kahente Diabo (he/they) is an award-winning competitive dancer who performs with dance troupes and as a soloist. They have been dancing powwow and urban dance styles for about 10 years on stage and film. Marshall has been seen dancing at  the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, the Olympic Stadium, on television and  at various other festivals. They were also the subject of a TV documentary about inspiring young First Nation’s children. They take pride in being 2-spirited and hope to inspire other youth to be proud of who they are and to go for their dreams.
